Tiong Bahru Bakery is celebrating its 10th anniversary. But this is no pat-
on-the-back self-congratulation, it’s a celebration of life, of the communities
we serve. Because that’s why we’re here. Yes, we’re passionate about
baking but what we love most is watching communities grow and
developing a deeper and deeper bond with people who come to us for
good, honest (and fabulously delicious ) food.
In 10 years we’ve seen babies grow into croissant-loving kids. We’ve seen
teenagers leave home but still come back for more kouign amanns. We’ve
witnessed first dates, marriage proposals, break-ups, tears of joy and
sadness. We’ve been privileged enough to have a ringside seat for
everything that makes Singapore such a fascinating metropolis.
Hopefully, you feel our warmth. And we’d like to think that’s why you keep
coming back. It’s not just our pretty face! You’ve shown us the value of
community, of belonging, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The next 10 years will be a blast!
